Victoria Wolff (1903–1992)

Trude Victoria Victor was the daughter of a Jewish Heilbronn leather manufacturer and was one of the few girls who attended the Heilbronn Realgymnasium. In the 1920s she wrote journalistic essays and feature articles. Her first novels instantly became bestsellers.

But Victoria Wolf - now married for the first time - had to leave Nazi Germany. She first went to Switzerland, then to the U.S. Thanks to her versatile writing skills, she also became a successful author in the U.S., not least writing screen-plays for Hollywood movies.

The books written by Victoria Wolff are published and read to this very day.
